No, Ron Paul is NOT the candidate who most wants to follow the Constitution.

Yes, he is. He also understands what is most important to the survival of this country.

But, before we discuss this further, you call people “stupid” on here who oppose Ron Paul...

No, I don't. I call people who appear ignorant of the reality of Paul's integrity and trash him beyond reason stupid. I don't care who opposes him. Many here disagree who to oppose and who to support. But every time someone reports something that even remotely puts a positive light on Paul, all the "he's a kook and you're a paulbot" freaks come out of the woodwork.

which makes me automatically think that you are a Paulbot.

Of course you do. Kneejerk reactions are always easier than reason. I have, outside of Free Republic, never supported Paul in any fashion. I only do so here when I get tired of all the stupid people saying all the stupid kneejerk things about him that they tend to.

You want people to have some respect

It is my experience that Ron Paul deserves respect. I am simply trying to defend the honor of what I consider to be an honorable man. And an intelligent man. And a man who loves this country and the constitution.

What is accomplished by tearing him down on this site all the time? You don't think he can win? Then what's the problem? People who I don't believe can win, I ignore. I remember when you couldn't say something good about Palin that you weren't attacked. But never for what she stood for.

You think trashing his good name on Free Republic is going to have any effect on what happens in the next election? It's not. It's not going to make any difference as to how well he does in his bid for president.

I think you don't get it on so many levels that I will stop here. By the way, if you don't mind my asking, who do you support in the upcoming election?

Good answer on all the ways he doesn’t know the Constitution...that is the tip of the iceberg. No, this man is not one of integrity...a man of integrity would have opposed earmarks on principle instead of playing politics with the issue. An honorable man would have sought the nomination as a Libertarian and not a Republican...since he won’t vote for any one of the candidates running now. His supporters are, and continue to be to quote Mark Levin “assholes”. He is NOT the one who adheres to the Constitution...I gave you some examples of this. Anyone who signed that pro-life pledge obviously doesn’t understand the Constitution. Anyone who thinks the President can audit the Fed, doesn’t understand the Constitution. He talks a good game, but have you honestly looked at his record?

Yes, I still think you are a Ron Paul supporter. Have you come on and defended other Republican candidates? I am a Palin guy myself, but in this cycle, I am going to Cain or Bachmann if she doesn’t run. So, since “I don’t get it on so many levels” please enlighten me...I have a sneaking suspicion, you can’t.
