They do provide an element of entertainment, though. That they do, I agree.

Its not unrealistic to think that Paul could beat Bachmann and Cain. Then let's exclude Palin in the wager.
I say despite these wacky polls, and your apparent belief that they hold any actual value, Paul has ZERO chance of winning the Republican nomination. Moreover, I am willing to bet you $100 that he doesn't. You seem to think he has a chance so why not take the bet?

There is no doubt that Ron Paul is a tea party leader, as is his son. I’m not arguing that Palin and Bachmann aren’t tea party leaders, just that Ron Paul most certainly is one.

Completely useless information. See post 57.

R-U-N Paul is a libertarian, not a conservative. He’s the GOP version of Dennis Koocoocinich. As such he has a snowball’s chance in hell of garnering enough votes to be national dog catcher.

What fawning and worship threads.
Ron Paul just won a major straw poll.
Came in first. It’s a news story.
I’m sorry you’re butt hurt your candidate did embarrassingly bad.
To: truthfreedom
Yes, it says more about the lack of support for the other candidates than it does about support for Paul.

Ron Paul is a kook who will never get as much as 2% of the vote proving these polls are a joke. What's really funny to me is that RP is the only candidate who has already been shellacked by Romney (in '08), who couldn't even beat McCain OR Huckleberry in the primary.

Ron Paul is simply too old and not tough enough to be President.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian and should run as one. It's the only way he will ever win a nomination.

$100 that the loser would pay to Free Republic.
Apparently Paul's supporters are all noise and no conviction.

Im sorry youre butt hurt your candidate did embarrassingly bad.Oh, yeah, that's another thing that cracks me up about the Paulestinians.
The whole "Who's your candidate?" "How did your candidate do?" business.
As if we all have some candidate that we worship the way you do yours. That's another one the Paultards were yapping in 2007.
Ron Paul just won a major meaningless straw poll.
There....fixed it for you.
I don't really give a tinker's damn about these silly polls.
Honestly, I just like to throw doses of reality on the worshipful Paulbots when they go around wetting their pants about meaningless things like this.
They squeal so loudly when poked and I sometiems just an't resist. LOL

Other than his age - ron paul is rock solid on economics.

We’ve already been sold. Clinton finished that off.
However I’m sure Paul and Huntsman will continue the downward spiral
of America every chance they get.

So, what’s your point?
Reagan was a great president.
To: GlockThe Vote
I agree, but he is soft in other areas.
He doesn't see that this nation is at war with Islam.
