I guess Perry’s wanting HPV vaccinations couldn’t possibly have anything to do with the CDC’s 5 Jan 2007 recommendation that HPV be administered to females. The HPV vaccine only protects against HPV-16/18 that cause 70% of cervical cancers and HPV-6/11 that cause 90% of genital warts. I guess we can be thankful that the manufacturers of vaccines for Hep-B, Rotavirus, Hib, IPV, DTap, PCV, MMR, Varicella, Hep-A, Influenza, and MPV4 also didn’t contribute to Perry since we would need to pull all those vaccines as well for fear of the appearance of a quid pro quo.
