but it isn’t Michelle’s job to knock him off.

Isn't that the entire idea of a primary? To knock off the other candidates?

It’s her job to win the nomination......she can knock him off and perhaps watch someone else walk off with the nomination......I say it’s her job to win the nomination on her own...with her own ideas, platform and ability to knock off Obama. Not necessarily to knock off Mitt.....I am perfectly capable of seeing through him all on my own and telling him loud and clear.......NO WAY in HELL MITT!

Yes. Perhaps she does not believe that’s the way to do it. If you say Romney is disqualified, she loses switching any Romney voters to herself. She may try to attract them in a positive manner instead.

The primary ELECTIONS aren't until next year.

I think it's wise at this point for ALL the GOP candidates to differentiate Republicans from Democrats in order to improve the generic favorability of the Republican "brand." The in-fighting can wait until much later.

The MSM (like Blitzer) would rather see the GOP candidates use their camera time to belittle each other rather than to get the GOP strategic message out in a way that might sway voters instead of turn them off.

All the GOP candidates are wise at this point to present their own ideas for the future, and leave the attacks on the others for when the voting gets closer.
