I'm having trouble understanding why there isn't a pack of local tea party showing up and shouting down this slick coward SOB Romney from a family of slick cowards in derision every time he speaks in public.

Notice how he only appears in front of hand selected crowds.

His Ceausescu moment is coming .

The sooner, the better.

Speaks volumes about the control the socialist media still wields that this phony bastard has the balls to run for the GOP nomination.

Take him down, and then take down the socialists in the press who are pushing him.

Bingo, many of us are thinking alike. Maybe she thinks she cannot beat him in the long haul and knows he is the front runner so she is going to hang in there for the second seat. Too bad as I would rather have her for my President than Romney.

Bachmann was promised the VP slot if Romney wins the nomination.

Her job is to deflate Palin and give Romney Tea Party cred.

I feel for you and your mom. Frustrating to the max. It looks like Parts A and B are mandatory but there's no requirement to sign up for C and D. D is the prescriptions, and if you need regular meds, it's probably a good idea to sign up (except you said she got help from the drug companies, and I think that's probably still an option). One size doesn't fit all, and the whole business is totally confusing.

Maybe the particular plan your mom is enrolled in is required to carry C and D; there are so many different ones to sort through.

My part D premium (prescriptions) was 130.80 for 2010 so I come out ahead by signing up for it and paying the co-pays even though one isn't covered.

I'm not sure what Part A is anyway. At the end of the year, I get a 1099 which breaks down direct deposits, B, C, and D but no A on it. I decided I'd better not take the risk of not carrying all the supplements, looks like there's an N, too, don't know what that's about.

I thought about dropping all the ones that aren't mandatory so my monthly deposit would be higher but decided it wasn't worth the risk.

I am not a big Romney fan, nor a Romneycare fan, but these programs, if they are to be considered are STATE matters, not federal ones. If they don’t work, they can be more easily changed. When something works for one state, others can adopt it. When it doesn’t, it can be changed.

I hate to say this because I have appreciated her conservative stances, but something is fishy with her and this presidential run.

Four years ago, I am convinced, McCain put Thompson in the race to keep conservatives uncommitted to any other "conservative." Thompson advertised himself as a conservative, even though his voting record in the senate was anything but.

Thompson piddled around for a few months, not campaigning very much, yet claiming he was a serious candidate.

Lo and behold, once McCain became the obvious choice for nomination and too late for conservatives to coalesce around anyone else, Thompson pulls out.

Fool me once...

Far more time and effort has been spent on FR, a conservative site, badmouthing with pure speculation and total hate, a declared conservative candidate, Michele Bachmann, than has been spent going after the marxist Barack Obama today. Sad, isn’t it?

If she does get the VP nod it will raise her visibility immensely. You would have a chance to vote for her in the future, I’m sure.

Reagan didn’t obey the 11th either, how do you think he nearly knocked off Gerry? By extolling his virtues?

So, are you going to explain why she didn't take the opportunity to say why Romney Care was bad, or the chance to show up the true negatives of one of her major liberal opponents?

Go ahead, splain it.

I'm betting like grapes you won't try......

There is NOTHING CONSERVATIVE about Romneycare, and thats the point.

This douchebag has brass balls though, trying to pass himself off as Mr. conservative states rights guy.

He ought to be tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail.

I LIKE that they are all focused on being nice to each other and slamming theWon only. Can’t stand Romney, but it isn’t Michelle’s job to knock him off.....the voters can do that themselves.

The 2010 Tea Party strategy was to campaign against and to beat RINOs in the primaries and to campaign against and to beat socialists in the general election.

For 2012, Michele Bachmann throws that strategy out the window.

Gosh. Just think if these politicians had to answer whether or not they think Romney’s gun-banning, his $50 co-pay taxpayer-funded abortions, his unilaterally-imposed sodomy fake marriage, or his homosexualization of the public schools disqualify him.

Your questions are the ones that need answering - also his belief in global warming and Cap and Trade - and Al Gore's endorsement of him!

Algore endorses Mitt on Climate

Blitzer asked Bachmann 5 times do you agree with Tim Pawlenty that Mitt romney is disqualified from being the Republican nominee for president because he supports mandated healthcare.?

I didn't see it, but it's not Bachmann's job to say Romney is disqualified from being the Republican nominee, it's the primary voters who make that decision.

Bachmann is an amazing conservative candidate doing exceptionally well and I'm seeing a sudden flurry of posts from people throwing her overboard over the dopiest little things.

No candidate is perfect. None. Bachmann will make some missteps now and again, won't be pure on every issue, etc, but she is a heck of a solid conservative and seems to be off to a great start. While Palin is my candidate, if she doesn't run Bachmann seems to be a great alternative so far.

I've said this multiple times before, in the last 40 years a presidential nominee has not chosen his VP from the existing field of presidential nominee leftovers.
They just don't.

Why do we continue to perpetuate this logic?
