An analyst on Fox, a supposed conservative, said yesterday that Weiner has a shot at relaunching his career because: "at the end of the day, he didn't actually do anything. All he did was sent pictures and messages."

The utter moral bankruptcy of many was exposed during this news cycle.

Isn’t that the truth? The media has a couple of ‘excusing’ balloons they are floating.
1. Why did Vitter get to stay?
2. He didn’t really do anything - not like he raped them.
3. His work for his constituents is too important for us to judge him.

Everytime they bring up Vitter - I want to say BILL CLINTON. Bill Clinton remained president and everyone in the media cheered him on. So when the apologists say VITTER, I wish someone would say CLINTON.

I find myself wondering if there are ‘celebrities’ in the media who have and continue to sext message ‘fans’. And that might be one of the reasons they circle and protect him?

Weiner can’t be the only media savvy political junkie that has ‘special fans’.
