I am in total agreement with you, but at the same time, we have to choose our candidate with the press in mind. By this, I don’t mean foregoing excellent candidates like Palin or Bachmann because the press will take out after them, but the creepy, over-coiffed wife is a negative for a candidate. We cannot just whine about the inequities of the coverage as it won’t change.

If Callista Gingrich scares me, imagine what she will do for non-pubbies.

oh, from the Dems’ perspective, Calista is the perfect stereotype of a Republican woman. Too white, too blonde, too coiffed, too expensively dressed, etc., etc., etc. They think that’s the very embodiment of the DC species of Republican women. Then, in their view, Outside the Beltway Republican/conservative/tea party women are straight out of “The People of WalMart.” But THEY don’t stereotype or profile.
