Rick Perry enthusiasticly campaigned for him in Iowa and Florida. They traveled the Sunshine State aboard a campaign bus, where Perry made speeches vouching for Rudy's Republican values. But Republicans didn't buy it. Conservative voters were turned off by the former New York mayor's support of gun control , gay marriage and abortion rights.
