Tony Dick’s window for a “dignified resignation” slammed shut three weeks ago when he decided to lie, and lie, and lie some more. He lied to virtually everyone he knows, including Bill Clinton and his very own (P)resident.

I thought this was far more civil than what he was entitled to. He’s lucky nobody had pitchforks, torches, buckets of hot tar and plenty of feather pillows....

Actually, make that five gallons of five minute epoxy instead of the tar...

Since we were all told he checked himself into rehab, he could have graciously resigned by just issuing a statement. But since he chose to make another public spectacle, he deserves whatever he gets.
