You can’t impeach Zerobama. That would be racist!

Yes but, come on, seriously? Think the RINOS are actually going to do anything ? I predict they will do NOTHING.

And they should DO NOTHING....

Impeachment might hasten Zero's departure by several months but it also brings about a whole bunch of negative opportunities with it....

Dennis Kucinich might be a meat head, but I respect this man more than ever by the way he stands up for his convictions, knowing that he’s bucking his party and his president.

I think this is what makes us strong as a country.

On the other hand you have the Schumers and the Durbins etc who are plain partisans.

Obama is a sociopath, and a narcissist. He does what he pleases.

Sad to say, maybe Plugs Biden would be an improvement. Is that how far this country has sunk?

“Why is no one in DC willing to get up and question and denounce this?”

Because they are completely bullied by the ‘R’ word.

The will tolerate ANYTHING to avoid having THAT cast in their faces.

I agree with you. But... wouldn't it be pretty wild if they were just playing it cool until after the dealine expires?! If they threatened impeachment ahead of the deadline, he might be smart enough to ram through an approval. But if they wait to mention the "I" word until after the deadline, then they have him dead to rights.

If we want impeachment to be successful in the House, get a conviction in the Senate, and make the MSM's collective heads spin, we must wait for a democrat to initiate impeachment. I believe that will happen once democrats realize that Obama is so toxic that the "party of Obama" will be kept out of power for a generation. And that democrats can get redemption from the voters only by taking care of the problem themselves. If violating the War Powers Act is what the democrats use as an excuse to impeach, that is as good as any other reason. But what they would really be doing is fixing their mistake and increasing their chances to keep power in 2012. It won't take many more "bad" polls or stupid comments from Obama to get someone like Kucinich going.

If impeachment is driven by republicans, there will be deafening support of Obama against those ra-a-a-a-cist republicans. If impeachment is driven by democrats, there will be enough republican votes to both impeach and convict, and the press will support it.

Kucinich and one conservative GOP House member needs to introduce a discharge petition to demand an impeachment hearing in the House Judiciary Committee on this issue.

Good points. But don’t forget that Biden will become president if Obama is impeached and convicted. So if they want to have any chance of winning in 2012, they’ll have to tell Biden not to even consider running. Look for some Democrat to hint that he/she is considering running for president.

Is everyone in DC oblivious

Yep to almost everything except their own greedy, me centered lives.

Yes, I know. It is sad to say Biden would be an improvement. He may be a clueless dufus, but I don't believe he is a hard-core doctrinaire America-hating socialist like Obama.

Congress alone has the power to declare war. But the President also has the authority as Commander-in-Chief to order US troops into action in the event that American assets are threatened by an aggressor power.

The War Powers Act was and is a terrible piece of politicized legislation that seeks to usurp Constitutionally-granted Executive power, as opposed to forcing Congress to act as they should, or would, if they had any courage.

In the present instance, Congress could easily vote to defund the Libyan operation and chide the President for having so acted against a country that did not directly threaten the United States. What prevents them from doing so is the same lack of courage and accountability its members routinely demonstrate in domestic financial matters.

Is everyone in DC oblivious to the fact that Hussein is aiding our enemies in Libya?

They get briefing - they KNOW! Question is, why are they wetting their pants in fear of Obama and his administration?

“;The method by which to accomplish that is...”

Well, since the ballot box doesn’t seem to work anymore, it is either a meteor hit on the capital, a freak tornado, lightening, hail, etc. or a few million folks cowboy up and hand those worthless buggers out into the street.

The problem is that most Americans are still too fat and lazy to get the job done.
