Chicago will turn into the next Detroit unless
something is done.

Like Detroit, all those who bring jobs (money) into the city will leave; meaning only the takers (those who
get free money) will remain.

Result? Detroit—a dying city that has lost over half
its population.

Those who forecast impending Detroitization are near the mark. But there is still time: one positive development is some progress in the city's relentlessly PC media. For months, downtown attacks by vermin from the city's Detroit-like south and west sides were simply not reported. Now the press is at least reporting this, putting heat on our new mayor to do something about it. Perhaps they were afraid of Daley but not of Emmanuel. Emmanuel still has time to act before crime and high taxes drive tourists and the productive city residents away.
