I agree with you, it was to attack the 2nd and shut down lots of gun sellers cause......I figure the sellers of the straw sales they were forced to do would be shut down also cause the government lies. Then go after other sellers cause they are responsible for all the border deaths....ATF etc. departments are all corrupt to the core..
The large number of guns sold is the smoking gun. (no pun intended).
If they had really wanted to just trace how the guns were used, only a handful would have been involved.
The fact that the number is in the thousands clearly shows the intent. They wanted a weapon (no pun intended again) to use against against gun owners.
That in fact is what did happen. The media kept talking about U.S. guns being responsible for crime in Mexico. Suddenly the media has almost completely quit pushing that story.
I wonder why?

This was NOT an attempt to control the smuggling of guns to the failed nation state of Mexico.
This was an attempt by the Obama junta to get gun control back on the front burner & to energize the party to pass laws to make owning semi auto firearms a major felony and to plant in the minds of the non gun owning public that gun owners are the moral equivalent of cartel gun men.
Did the bastards in Washington D.C. know that people were gonna die ? Absolutely they are known to have basically bragged about what the effects of the operation were in Mexico & gloating about it . HEADS NEED TO ROLL !!!
Sadly however the guilty will walk because they are Federal LEO’s.
Not yet & I doubt that it will simply because the folks in Washington D.C. will never be held accountable either in this country or Mexico . Americans have been murdered with the able assistance of federal law enforcement & the folks involved will get away with it .

Anytime a Weinergate type scandal exists, it means that something is probably happening to contribute to the destruction of America. Just like Clinton/Monica scandal helped hide the selling out to China.
Once guns flow back into Mexico, they are no longer within the jurisdiction of the United States, leaving the government without any authority to prosecute anyone for any crime.
Yet throughout all of this the administration says this was allowed to happen so they could get at cartel kingpins.
This is what bugs me the most in all of this. This is all supposed to go back to the Merida Initiative and Fast and Furious seems to have been part of a new process launched by President Obama and President Calderon in August 2009 given the timelines.
So where does the BATF claim it gets its legal authority (which law) to arrest any "cartel kingpin" in Mexico as they claim their ultimate goal was?
And "who knew what and when" becomes glaring when you know that ...Operation Fast and Furious, started...in the fall of 2009.
And yet everybody is Sgt. Schultz...they know nothing.

Yep, they are arming the thugs and disarming us. IT was not an experiment, it was a another pilot test for a wider program of extermination of the free in America.
Many large banks make tons and tons of money from drug cartels, laundering it. And they in turn “donate” money to politicians. That’s why they like the phony drug war that doesn’t stop drugs, but keeps the prices nice and high.
