Truly amazing how facts get twisted and spun around by people who want to put down someone... "Twisted and spun"? Talk about jumping to conclusions.
Try this....I wasn't aware of the exact timeframe in which Perry was Al Gore's campaign manager.

The msm will probably do what they do best....build a candidate up so they can tear him/her down. Bachman seems to be their new interest.
Probably one of them is writing a FOIA request for her email right now.

I should know by now to be more careful with declarative statements around here. Freepers are really on their toes! LOL

I believe the point of your link was to defend Perry, but I found nothing in the article to assuage any of my fears about him....NO. The point of my link was to add information to the debate. My excerpt was to put another point of the discussion out there (I linked because it is the proper thing to do).

Thank you for finding and bringing that information to the thread!

Yep, and that was what - 1999? 1988 -- Dem Primary - Dukakis won and ran against Bush.
To: octex
Thanks.
I want to see these candidates out there on the stump — taking on Obama and fighting for our votes.

1988 -- Dem Primary - Dukakis won and ran against Bush. Ok, so where was Algore in that mix? Was he running for Congress that year?

Rick Perry became a Republican in 1989. Thanks, CW.

I appreciate the work you are doing to examine all options.
It is as it should be. We may have to settle on a person who can get the most votes. Who knows yet, but it doesn’t hurt to look. Obama has to go.
