A federal prosecutor has launched a secret grand jury to investigate possible CIA war crimes at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, Time magazine reported.
Federal prosecutor John Durham, who was first appointed to probe the destruction of CIA interrogation videotapes by Attorney General Michael Mukasey in 2008, is now working on an expanded probe authorized by the Obama Justice Department that includes cases of alleged abuse of terror suspects in U.S. custody.
Time reported on Monday that one Durham-issued subpoena said the federal grand jury is conducting an investigation of possible violations of federal criminal laws involving War Crimes (18 USC/2441), Torture (18 USC 243OA) and related federal offenses.
The case centers around the death of Iraqi prisoner Manadel al-Jamadi, who was known as the Iceman because after killing him, U.S. forces wrapped him in ice in an attempt to alter his postmortem appearance. In a photograph that drew worldwide scorn, Army Spc. Charles Graner was photographed giving a thumbs-up sign while posing over al-Jamadis dead body.

What bothers me the most is them exposing the interrogators name like this, didn't the left determine that outing of CIA operatives was a BAD thing a few years ago?
The same Justice Department that won’t investigate Black Panther voter intimidation now wants to go after the same CIA that gave Obama the only bright moment in his presidency, the killing of OBL? Beam me up Scotty. This is insane. Let it go already. So some terrorist had to have panties on his head and his junk laughed at-—Anthony Weiner called that a social life.
For those who have forgotten the picture of Army Spc. Sabrina Harman with the dead terrorist in question. Harman might pass for "not guilty" by FR standards, especially with that cute smile, but I would never date or turn my back on a woman like her.
This is just something for the MSM to use to distract public attention from Obama’s phantom “shovel ready jobs” performance. When this proves to be as short lived as his Bin Laden bump, his Democrat Senate can always open more hearings on Barry Bond’s use of steroids.
