You are very correct. A friend who is very conservative, flies all over the Country on hunting trips and is quite knowledgeable about current events (he's also a very busy commercial pilot for a major airline), knew nothing about gunwalker and was shocked to hear about it. He's now informed and doing his best to inform those around him.
