Also, do you notice that the administration and the MSM don’t talk much about the unemployment rate anymore? Instead, they talk about “jobs saved”, “jobs created”, and “jobs related to the stimulus”.
Nancy Pelosi jumped down Bush’s throat one time as unemployment approached 6% during the Bush years, hyperventilating at how that rate was way too high, and too many people were suffering, yadda, yadda, yadda. Today’s 9+% unemployment rate doesn’t matter, though. If a good Democrat is president, then traditional measures of economic health are just ignored. And we make up new measures, such as the “jobs saved” thing they keep talking about.
And how creative of them. There is no way to independently verify the number of “jobs saved”, so the Obamabots can make up any number, the MSM laps it up like good lap dogs, and it’s all good.
