Obama: My family is 'fine' with one term
By: Jennifer Epstein June 14, 2011 08:51 AM EDT
As his reelection campaign ramps up, President Barack Obama says his family is not invested in a second term in the White House.
Michelle and the kids are wonderful in that if I said, `You know, guys, I want to do something different, theyd be fine, Obama said in an interview with NBC News that aired Tuesday morning on Today. Theyre not invested in daddy being president or my husband being president.
If family is doing well and Michelle is still putting up with me, then Ive got enough energy to keep doing the work that Im doing, he said.
But Obama says there are some days where I say that one term is enough, but added that hes motivated to win a second term because of a belief that the work that we started in 2009 is not yet complete.
And, if the first lady thought it was time for him to go, hed listen.
I think Michelle if she didnt think that what we were doing was worthwhile in moving the country forward, I think shed be the first to say, Why dont you do something else thats a little less stressful?

Obastard is such a liar!
Good ta know. ‘Cause that’s all yer gonna git.
The liar knows his days are numbered.
Third time posted.
This character is really just a lying POS!
I think most families that aren’t getting a gubmint check would be happy with just one Obongo term.
My family will work hard to give that to his family.
Right!
This f*&^%#g, gaping rectum thought he’d be President of the United States of America until he decided what ELSE he’d like to do.
Yeah, right - the moose would give up her glory position while she can still milk the taxpayers? But I’m guessing zero doesn’t like the indignity of being challenged or having to explain an actual record.
I’m not fine with just one term - it’s one term too many.
I’d be happy if he had four consecutive life terms...in the most northern Alaskan prison.
FUBO & FAD
If that’s what you want, then I will be more than happy to oblige you, Mr. Obama. Pathetic loser.
My bet is still on that the democrat candidate for president in 2012 will not be an incumbent.
Only question is, how to they (the DNC) pull it off without their fingerprints?
My Family is fine with it as well
Exactly. But he’ll couch it in terms that “he wants to spend more time with his family”. Then he can stay in Hawaii and golf all he wants. They’ve made they’re millions, they’ve gottent their piece of the pie. Very few crumbs left over for the dumbed down electorate that got them there. And I don’t see anyone on that side of the aisle that can run next year...or in 2016.
I’m OK with him doing four years in the White House....Then I’d like to see him with 10 to 20 in the Big House.
If Palin runs; he won’t. He doesn’t want to face the same humiliation in a debate with her that he suffered at the hands of Benjamin Netanyahu.
Theyre not invested in daddy being president or my husband being president.
He’s got a husband?
