Hezbollah and its allies rose to a position of unprecedented dominance in Lebanon's government Monday, giving its patrons Syria and Iran greater sway in the Middle East.

Then, they gave the Muslims the vote and were outbred.
There is a message there for the USA and the illegals and muslims.
Hey everybody, remember the great arab spring uprising in Lebanon back in the `90s !?
Expect likewise for the rest.
True, partly.
Its mainly due to emigration and birth rates that its not majority christian. Mainly emigration though as christian families in lebanon have an average of 3.72 children which isnt so bad compared to the muslims. Emigration has been the real killer, because christian families in Lebanon are in general better off they are able to pick up and leave to go somewhere else and are also able to integrate into societies.
Look at Dearborn, Mich. It is the perfect example of muslims not being able to integrate into society.
In any case, what this article fails to explain is that its actually a record number of christian ministers in this cabinet, and it took time being formed because the christians wanted what they deserved in ministerial positions because that particular christian block got like 35% of the seats in parliament. Infact they actually took portfolios from hezbollah, and hezbollah has 2 minister seats out of 30 while that christian block got 11. They got minister of agriculture and minister of state(there is one for each denomination shiite, sunni, druze, maronite, catholic, orthodox)
You will probably scratch your head thinking why would christians be in a political alliance with hezbollah? the answer is because the other side(pro west side) is a collection of the most corrupt individuals you will ever see. They dont even hide it, its like a mafia, they steal money in public and no one says a word. They have alienated a whole christian party, because of one man. This man is a christian ex-general who declared war on syria at the end of the civil war. Every politician in lebanon got bought by syria and helped the syrians in ousting him from lebanon and he lived in exile till the syrians left in 2005. When he arrived he won like 40% of the parliament and almost all the christian seats, but the “pro west” side did nt want to give him any ministerial positions. Why, you ask? Because he is prractically the only person screaming for an audit of every person in government since 1990. This means that every politician will be charged with defrauding the state.
So they fought tooth and nail to shut him out of government, so he had no choice to make a political understanding with hezbollah, which also discusses hezbollah weapons and the eventual disarmament. This is the same man who testified before congress claiming hezbollah are terrorists and backed by iran and syria.
So he may have an alliance with a terrorist group, but thats only because he needed the votes to get the positions which can actually change things for the better in Lebanon.
You need to understand, the situation in Lebanon is horrible. The government practically does nothing, they nationalized the internet and charge 100$ for a 256kb connection and 2gb download limit, because they charge isp’s 10000% on t1 lines. To put this in perspective, it has been rated the worst internet in the world, only behind burkina faso. In fact “palestine” and afghanistan and iraq have quicker internet. There are no road laws whatsoever, infact there are like 20 traffic lights in the whole country, everything else is just people winging it. Its funny when I visit and people honk at me if i stop at a red light. There are still electricity cuts all over, and if people dont have personal generators then they will be with no power for several hours a day. In fact when I was at my uncles house, the quality of the electricity from his solar panels or diesel generator was wayyyy better than the government electricity, was pretty funny seeing the lights get dim and realising oh the government electricity is back up.
We probably would have been better off giving support to monkeys rather than saad hariri, the saudi arabian guy..
In any case Im in this dreadful place for a week :P And in my opinion, barring a war happening, It seems that it will be a little positive.
