We have received numerous emails and telephone calls from our viewers who were upset when they tuned into TBN on Wednesday night expecting to see our program dealing with churches that have lost their way and four well known leaders that are promoting Chrislam – a uniting of Christianity with Islam. On Wednesday afternoon we received a call from Matt Crouch of TBN informing us that they would not run that program, despite having aired it Monday evening.
The reason he gave was that we specifically mentioned Rick Warren and Robert Schuller and that it is TBN’s policy that broadcasters are not allowed to rebuke other ministries.
This is a rather hypocritical statement in light of the fact that they have never said anything in the past when we have rebuked others such as Bishop Spong, Bishop Pike, and in the past few months Harold Camping and Rob Bell.
They also stated that they would not run any future program where we offered our DVD Reclaiming & Restoring Biblical Christianity as a premium for a donation to our ministry. A DVD that exposes false teachers and the heresies that they proclaim.
Beloved, I Will Not Be Silenced! I will not allow anyone to tell me what I can and cannot preach. When I see heretical teaching leading to apostasy, I will speak out. The Bible says “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (II Timothy 3:16 emphasis mine). The Apostle Paul also gives instructions in Titus 1:9 – 11, 13 “Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers…Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake…Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith” (emphasis mine).
I immediately called our Media Agents and told them that I no longer wanted to air my program on Trinity Broadcasting Network; we will take the tremendous amount of money that we were spending there to obtain new stations that will allow us to continue to reach every square mile of America with the truths of the Bible without this network.
We will be sending a letter out to all of our Partners very soon that will go into more detail as well as sharing how after 23 years of building an audience in the same time spot; they were going to move us to Friday nights where the audience is 25% less – and they stated this was a mandatory move – no exceptions.
Except Paul is a switch-hitter, I think.

you cannot incorporate “part” of Islam.
either you accept that Quran is the LITERAL word of God,
or you don’t.
If it is, then you must accept it ALL as correct, and unalterable. (as Islam currently teaches. similar to the Golden tablets in Mormonism.)
if you take only part, you have already conceded it is NOT the actual words of God. OR, you inherently blaspheme against the part you don’t take.
it is all, or nothing. as ANY Imam could tell you.
in effect, Islam itself, already is as close to “Chislam” as you can get. Since Islam already incorporates much of Christianity and Judaism.
Most Christian ministers, and ALL Imam (except when doing taquiyya), can tell you this.

I agree 100% with TBN. I am sick of all these preachers concocting reasons to attack other preachers. Bishop Spong is an entirely different matter: a retired bishop who has explicitly rejected Christianity.
One thing I hate even more is whininess. TBN can’t censor anyone. They chose not to let their ministry be a platform for attacking others. It’s their prerogative. If those whiners don’t like it, they can create their own network, because they have not been censored.

I don’t even like Rick Warren but I thought attacking him and Schuller for Chislam was pathetic. But Fulton Sheen an Islamicist? He might as well call Clarence Thomas a racist.
I happen to attend a church currently where the American or Christian flag is not displayed in the sanctuary and the only cross in the sanctuary is off to the side. The reason given is that the sermons are taped and sent to muslim countries all over the world and the pastor does not want to “offend” them by having our flags or the cross visible. I say TS if they are offended.......but that’s just me.

Van Impe is not a false prophet...He does teach Christ is coming soon, because he is..He wants christians to be prepared for his return....
He knows every scripture by memory..

not that i’m condoning it. yes, Christians have done wrongs also. But those brave Spanish Christians, are the ONLY people, in 1300 years, to RECOVER their land from Islam. Most of the places in Turkey, etc., that were once Christian centers of learning, where parts of our HOLY BIBLE were written, remain conquered by Islam.

My point is that The Inquisition, far from being a Christian invention (as the left incessantly harps) is actually an anomalous and temporary continuation of a facet of normal islamic culture that was imposed on Christians for centuries.
It looks like your poor writing led me to unfairly attack Van Impe for attacking “Bishop Sheen.” Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen are of no relation to Bishop Fulton Sheen, other than Martin Estevez renamed himself after him.
BTW, I love reminding Black Muslims of the reason Saudi has no race problem today, despite having the longest running program of importing African slaves ever.
