I agree, "fascism" is actually a more precise term, Nazi style fascism. As a matter of fact the local Republicans keep mumbling something about the greater good, when I suggest that they are throwing the whole NW portion of the county under the bus for short term construction jobs. There excuse sounded suspiciously like what Hitler claimed was the Nazi motto in a telegram to Roosevelt in 1934.

"The quintessence of the German State philoosophy which finds its expression in the slogan, 'The Public Weal transcends the interests of the individual.' "
