Some Libertarians are pro choice. Ron Paul is pro life.
Libertarians, as I understand it, would might want state laws to be removed, of Federal Laws legalizing certain things, removing state laws. Ron Paul just wants to remove the Federal Laws.

I think Ron Paul is pretty much a Libertarian to the point where I find myself questioning his ardor for the Constitution (I think he, like Patrick Henry, would have been a vehement anti-federalist (I think maybe still is).) I've heard him apply the Constitution in questionable ways sometimes.

I think when it comes to economic matters Paul is on target because the free market, the only real creator of wealth, demands...well, freedom - from government interference (a problem from the get-go because the government is Constitutionally assigned the job of printing money).

We all know Paul gets in the most trouble in foreign policy where his isolationist/Libertarianism really gets convoluted, IMO.
