The film that’s preaching to the choir? Who’s going to see that move besides the most ardent Palin supporters?

Can’t stand HER voice?
How about Palin with that gosh golly gee willikers thing going on..Love her politics but she sounds like a 3rd grade teacher when she talks..

_______________

I agree. Love her politics also, but she needs to take some lessons from Bachmann when it comes to speaking and sophistication.

A president can push congress to cut taxes, repeal stupid legislation like ObamaCare, Dodd/Frank, SOX and other job killing regulation. There’s a LOT the government can do to get this economy moving.

From most of what I read on NRO, they are totally in the tank for Romney.

Your post makes no sense. I was saying that conservative media is tweeting and blogging Michele Bachmann the winner or co-winner with Romney. And asking if they are now part of the MSM since the Palin supporters meme is the MSM is pimping Bachmann. So I guess if conservative media is doing the same that means they're out to sabotage Palin?

I have no fetish with Palin. I take issue with her supporters dumping on Michele Bachmann. If they weren't afraid of Michele I don't think they'd be doing it.

Ok, here’s something I’ve noticed about the “anybody but Palin” crowd. Their FIRST priority isn’t their country, it’s opposing Sarah. They decided they didn’t like her a LONG time ago and have lusted after every person that has shown an inkling of conservatism since.... They are so desperate for ANYONE except her, they stooped to almost pimping for anyone....and never even gave her a fair shot. However, the pro-Palin crowd has been largely supportive of ALL conservative candidates & turned on them only when there was sufficient evidence to do so.... I rarely find a pro palin person that is a Palin only person... usually their Sarah pick has been b/c they’ve compared other candidates and compared to her they fall short on many issues or the ones that matter. But b/c there are people who like her for a number of reasons, they aren’t allowed to ever criticize another conservative or they are dubbed “palinbots” or some other nonsense....

And I’m very disturbed by this trend Rush talked about the other day of conservative women not liking Palin & can’t give a reason. I have had so called conserves tell me they don’t like her b/c “she quit” or “her voice nags me”..... What the heck? just looking for an excuse to have “anybody but Palin”..... It’s disgusting.

Really? I don’t get that impression at all. Yeah they endorsed him in 2008 but that’s only because he was the least bad option (and could raise a lot of money).

I thought Bachmann won the debate. I really liked how she structured her answers. Quick answer, talking points somewhat related to the question, detailed answer, summary / repeat of quick answer. I didn’t see it as shallow as some did.

And she’s my 3rd favorite. One on stage, one not are my top 2.

I don’t think Bachmann will get that much of a bounce in the polls from this debate, not to pass Palin. The MSM might want to pretend that Bachmann becomes a front runner. I was impressed, likely others were too, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see her numbers up a little (2-3), maybe Cain down a tad (1-2), maybe Romney down (Taliban had to hurt a little) Every one else about the same (0-1).

Was Robert Taft a Libertarian?

Robert Taft was the leader of the Conservatives, before Barry Goldwater. Didn’t get the Republican nomination. Came closest in 1952. Was a non-interventionist. He was not a Libertarian.

The best thing about the debate... I wasn’t subjugated to Weiner-gate for a couple of hours. ;-)

Not all isolationists are Libertarians.

However, all Libertarians are isolationists. It’s a defining characteristic of Libertarianism.

No, I don’t have any reason to believe Taft was a Libertarian.

I thought the debate/forum was fairly even. However I thought Newt Gingrich when he spoke seemed to be with strongest expression, not that I intend to vote for Newt. It would be good if all the comments were distilled into a platform that really takes it to Obama and his enablers.

Good to hear from Michele Bachmann and is a worthy candidate. She addressed most of the (legitimate) questions well.

Even though I don’t like Gingrich at all, he is a good debater (would have liked him to have to address climate change and his marital infidelity, to name just a few issues). If anybody is seriously thinking of voting for this guy, they should watch “The Real Newt Gingrich” on YouTube. This is not somebody who can beat Obama based on his integrity alone.

Romney made two horrible gaffes... one regarding turning Afghanistan back over to the Taliban forces (before he corrected himself) and the other in regards to Sharia not happening in the United States (very naive of the power of Islamic intimidation... he should look in Deerborn, Michigan). Newt really knocked-out Romney on the Muslim issue.

Herman Cain, who was my favorite and stand-out in the first debate, didn’t stand out as much this time around. Had to play defense a lot on issues like TARP and appointing a Muslim. Disappointed with his DADT response.

So I guess she won because she didn't make a fool of herself. Big damn deal. She will soon. I really don't give a rats ass what you or any of these establishment, so called conservative magazines say or said. Im my opinion Mrs. Backmann was shallow and pandering.

The question regarding Barack Obama’s qualifications to be elected president did NOT concern his parents and where they were born. If it did he would not be president today, since his father was not a U.S. citizen. It did concern where HE was born and whether he was born in Hawaii as a natural born citizen or not. Go back and read the Constitution concerning this matter-—it doesn’t mention a word about one’s father or mother.

The question about John McCain’s qualifications concerned the same issue. Since he was born in the Panama Canal Zone many thought that he was not qualified to be elected either and questioned whether he was a natural born citizen. His parents had nothing to do with him being qualified.

Actually, the phrase originated in a letter, dated October 7, 1801, written by Thomas Jefferson and addressed to the Baptist Association of Danbury Connecticut.
