In the 1800’s, people were married with kids at 16. While I wasn’t until 30 until I got married and had kids, the norm for centuries prior to the current times (1940’s on) was get married, have kids. And that was usually before 18.
My mother got married in 1961 at the age of 15. Does that make the man she married a pedophile? They didn’t have kids until 1964, however.
