He won't resign and if he loses the election in 2012 he will sue all the way up to the supreme court. The political commentators in DC have said that if he doesn't resign, he will be re-districted out in 2012.
That is, NY is going to lose 2 seats in Congress in 2012 - due to the 2010 Census. This means that they have to combine 2 districts into 2 other existing districts.
Prior to this, Weiner's district WASN'T going to be involved. NOW, it is - assuming he doesn't resign first.
They will re-district him into another district where the Representative is EXTREMELY popular. That Rep. will carry his EXISTING district by a mile and will ONLY need to win about 30% of Weiner's OLD district to win in the primary ...

This is the same community that when a sex shop wanted t open up in the neighborhood, had so many protesters in front of it that you couldn't use the side walk. They all screamed on the news that why school kids might walk by and see the sign about adult videos, not that they could actually see into the store with the glass being covered over. Made good news and of course the store was closed down. But these same people have no problem with “Whiner” flashing his junk. After all he is an adult and he has his right to privacy. NY Dems, can get caught murdering some one and just walk away from it all. So tired of this nonsense.

That's the Rev. Ike Syndrome. When he would have his revival meetings he would say give me money to do the Lords work and why am I driving a Cadillac? That's cause God wants me to drive one. Says I can do the Lords hard work and I deserve a reward, oh and don't forget to buy some of that holy floor wax I sell. It helps keep the Devil out of your home. All this is nothing new, just more recognized now that we have news 24 7 from non MSM sources. That is our main weapon against this stupidity.

“If he resigns, I can already see the headline: Weiner out!
Well, it does look like support is flagging...and he’s going to be facing a stiff re-election challenge, considering that he’s going to be in and out of the negative spotlight between now and 2012.
He should pull out while he’s ahead.

I wonder if his constituents who want to show their support shake his hand, knowing where it’s been.

He's not the retiring type!

He has a history of outdoing his last anti-GOP slander with a new, even bigger whopper that helps to brand the ‘rats as the scum that they are.
Much of my feeling about Weenie-Boy is based on the Alan Grayson experience in a neighboring district here in Florida. His outrages, including the immortal “Die quickly” helped to get out a huge anti-Grayson vote which made him a one-termer and I am sure helped other districts get out the vote to dump ‘rats.
Just accept the double standard. It exists and will never change anytime soon. The thing to do is to turn it back against them.
Hang in there, “Tough Tony.” You will be a big help to your enemies.

Sounds like DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is down on Wiener, too.

Unfortunately, Weiner is my congressman.
A Republican has a chance to win here if he seriously tried. Robert Turner was the first serious candidate and he won 40%. But I only knew about his campaign because he was mentioned in all the Weiner ads.
