“And I’m sure he saw all the standing ovations Netanyahu got”

...and which HE expected when he did his little song and dance for the British Parliament and was met with icy stares, no applause, and even disdain.
I am POSITIVE he asked to give that speech because of Netanyahu’s reception by our Congress, and positive he thought they would fall all over themselves that he so honored them with his glorious presence. It was a PR disaster. The contrast could not have been more humiliating.
That whole trip started off ugly and only got worse. As if Netanyahu was following him everywhere he went. GOOD! sez I.

Never saw such utter silence in the BP - those meeting are about as noisy and raucous as they get. Methinks they have complete disdain for this mini-dictator...gotta love it when he pauses for what he thinks will be shouts of “hear hear” and stamping of feet and yells in agreement - and nothing comes. He looks rattled. He was expecting standing O’s too - to counteract BiBi’s here. Nada. Love those Brits sometimes.

and he has the gall - or stupidity to make this remark:

” Obama said, even while adding they will “proceed with humility, and the knowledge that we cannot dictate outcomes abroad.”

Where are our politicians and media to remind him of this statement now?
