I am so old that I can remember when the “alternative life-style community” had a slogan of “All we want is to be left alone!”
Then it became “In your face” and now it appears to be “Proselytize to the Max!”
They realized that the power of the state is the best way to condition people to accept them and punish them when they don’t.
