Stalin lived a very long, very comfortable life.
That's not what matters. And I'm not even talking about the afterlife. I'm talking about peace of mind and quality. Above-mentioned Stalin, while he had physical comfort, had to worry every moment about being deposed or assassinated. Not fun.
