Perry's a RiNO. Another big spender (and former dem) with an R next to his name. The establishment is begging him to run because it's becoming obvious Romney doesn't have the votes to win the nomination and they need someone who can peel away votes from conservative candidates in states where evangelicals are the most influential voting bloc. Perry himself has a snowball's chance in hell of winning the nomination.

If you are claiming Perry is a conservative, then I don't think that word means what you think it does.

I simply recognize that the Perry is a leftist who left the democrat party but not the democrat party’s ideal of the government owning everything.

I am okay with you personally losing everything you own and everything that is and ever was important to you if you try to saddle me with another socialist.

I won’t be sitting in any corners.

Instead, I will be using the credibility I have gained in correctly predicting the 9/11 attacks and the collapse of the housing bubble to convince others on the Christian right of the neccesity of presenting ONLY a clear distinction between the parties vis-a-vis national direction.

The two years we have had of Obama have produced the sharpest shift to the right in my lifetime. Six more years of socialism, if people like you won’t run a true conservative to unite behind will likely push us to a civil war that I see the left losing. I am okay with that, tho with my health I won’t survive the grid being down for several summers.

As both Sun Tsu and Von Clauswitz point out, those who would capitulate at even the threat of war have already lost. The Christian right is up against the wall and won’t vote for a McCain or a Perry. No amount of name calling or dismissal will overcome that for you.
