Weiner says online contact with teen not indecent

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, who has been under fire after admitting to sending graphic photos to women online, acknowledged Friday that he had online contact with a 17-year-old girl in Delaware but said the communications were "neither explicit nor indecent."

New Castle County police confirmed that officers interviewed a high school junior Friday afternoon at her family's home north of Wilmington about the New York Democrat.

"They were made aware of an alleged contact between Congressman Anthony Weiner and an area teen," said Officer Tracey Duffy, a New Castle County police spokeswoman. "The teen has been interviewed and disclosed no information regarding any criminal activity."

Duffy said the investigation was continuing. The police visit was first reported by FoxNews.com, which had a reporter outside the house.

Weiner spokeswoman Risa Heller said in a one-sentence statement Friday night, "According to Congressman Weiner, his communications with this person were neither explicit nor indecent."

Incase Weiner hasn’t learned yet the records on the internet do not lie and anything that the two of you exchanged are all there for anyone like the ethics comittee who can subpoena them to see.Every word,photo, and anything else you did will be there for all the world to see.

One has to wonder if Rep. Anthony Weiner is stating that his texting communications with the under-aged girl were neither explicit nor indecent with CERTITUDE.

The police reported what the girl said. The police also say they’re still investigating.

It says the girl disclosed no criminal information. Maybe the girl is covering for Weiner. Has the thought crossed the mind of Police Investigators, that maybe they should get a warrant to search the messages from Weiner to verify the underage girls story.
