More than 126,000 total customers were without power after a line of severe thunderstorms swept through the state Thursday evening, wreaking havoc on multiple towns and cities still recuperating from Wednesday night's storm.
A third day of unseasonable heat blistered the state throughout the morning and early afternoon hours but eventually turned to torrential rain, heavy winds and hail throughout most of the state.
Golf-ball-sized hail fell in Norfolk, Colebrook, Killingly,Torrington, Canaan and Winsted, according to reports from the National Weather Service. Those in New Haven and Hartford counties were also hammered by the storm with residents reporting flooding, downed power lines and fallen trees.

To the wonderful community of the Mark Levin Show Lounge Community, this explains why I could not get on to post a new thread last night. Lost power.
Very SPECIAL pinging of the Mark Levin Show Thread list to explain why you did not get a “new thread” last night, as a CT resident, I lost power and could not post a new thread. THANK-YOU for your understanding.

No worries Biggirl. Hope you and yours are ok.
Impressive storm went over head.
Funnels were forming a few miles from my house heading our way. Thank God, no tornado touchdown.
BG, as long as you and your kitties are OK, that’s all that counts.
McGruff, looks like your city got hit, did you lose power?
We’re good. Lights flickered a couple of times and Internet went out but that was about it. I parked my car outside to get a free car wash. Luckily there was no hail, at least in my vicinity.
i saw a few of the levin loungers wandering aimlessly around threads - we were all helplessly wondering about you and fuddie - but none of us smart enough to start a thread
Hi Springman!
Doing better now, will be posting the Mark Levin thread shortly, give a special early start and as a way to make up for not being able to do so last night. Was home getting my cats feed when it really got dark so very fast.
Doing fine today, a bit tired, but happy the weather is much, much nicer. The worse was just right before 5PM, and between 4-5PM it was getting dark and darker.
.....Plus wondering if all the bad weather held me captive! :)
