Two women have become the latest teachers to be charged with having sex with high school students.
In Alabama, a teacher charged with sexually abusing three students pled guilty to two counts and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Amy Caudle will serve three years, with credit for time already served and will have 12 years of supervised probation.
District judge Trippy McGuire also ruled that she resign from her job at Andalusia Middle School, surrender her teaching certificate and sign on to the sex offenders register.
Chief assistant district attorney Grace Jeter had told the court that between November 2010 and February 2011 that Caudle performed oral sex on two pupils in her car.
The accusations came to light when Caudle had a ‘slip of the tongue’ when talking to a former school system employee.
In South Carolina, a 23-year-old Spanish teacher resigned from her job on Tuesday after she was charged with sexual battery with a student.
Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said his office received a complaint about an inappropriate relationship between a 16-year-old Boiling Springs high school student and teacher Abby McElhenny.

April Alexander, 26, from Irving, Texas, was last week arrested after being accused of having sex with a 16-year old student on more than 25 occasions. The teen, now 18, told police he and the biology teacher had sex on more than two dozen occasions at MacArthur High School in Irving and in Alexander's car.
Michelle McCutchan, 38, was jailed in Checotah, Oklahoma, after admitting making a sex tape with her daughter's 16-year-old boyfriend. The mother-of-one confessed to having sex with the teen on at least five occasions and setting up a video camera to film two of the romps.
Swell. I'm sure the boys had fun no matter what they told police.

In the 7th grade..the teacher asked me to stay after class..
All the students departed. Cannot remember all the details..but she asked me to come to her desk. She was sitting in her chair...wearing a dark skirt..it was very high up her legs.
Standing next to her...looking at her legs...falling into a trance...wait a moment..had to catch the school bus.
It was difficult to leave the room..but ran fast to catch it.
