Pawlenty Snaps Up Former Gingrich Co-Chair While there’s plenty of buzz over what Newt Gingrich’s team resigning means for Rick Perry, Tim Pawlenty’s team has already added Gingrich’s former national co-chair, former Georgia governor Sonny Perdue. “Tim Pawlenty is a great man, he was a phenomenal governor, and he is the person I now believe stands the greatest chance of defeating President Obama. He is the only candidate who has laid out a real plan to grow the American economy, and his track record in Minnesota is proof he’s the right man for the job,” Perdue said in a statement. Pawlenty’s campaign manager, Nick Ayers, ran Perdue’s winning 2006 re-election campaign, and had served Perdue as a political advisor for five years prior to the 2006 election.

I’d take my boot over Romney.....then again, by boots are more qualified then the current idiot in the white house.

Can I take a leap and just pose a bet that the Force will be the trio of Pawlenty, Perry and Romney. If we can wait a lifetime for Palin, we can wait a minute for Perry to shake a tree or two. All he has to do for traction is read his resume and that will give him time to pull together a campaign. Cash, money and endorsements will be energized and delivered on a rocket.
Romney and TPaw will be in the RINO finals, I don’t care whether Perry enters or not.
The question is whether the conservatives will field a whole bracket—i.e., will Palin get in?—otherwise, I see Cain and Bachmann disqualifying themselves back in the semis, and the RINOs winning by default.
And yes, if it came down to it, I’d pick TPaw in that case over Romney.
