I live in Minneapolis, rush hour traffic ran smoother with the busses off the freeways. The strike was a big flop for labor.

That's excellent. In NJ the toll workers threatened to strike (the state has been replacing tollbooths with electronic readers) and their president actually claimed that tollbooths help the flow of traffic and are inherently useful.
Unions are 100% worthless - pure rent-seeking.
