"...Christie said. “It also meets our goal of making sure government is out of the broadcasting business. In my view that should have ended with the Soviet Union. It’s ending here in New Jersey a little later than the fall of the wall in Berlin, but we’re getting there."

That's it?

You think that because no bill concerning sharia law was considered by the Indiana legislature that it's OK to make an internet post claiming that the legislature passed a bill outlawing sharia and that Governor Daniels vetoed it?

Jeepers.

So not only do you beat your anti-muslim dead horse, but you waste time attacking successful GOP governors who AREN'T running. Awesome.

But why are you pinging me? You think I care? Your posts are totally meaningless drool to me. Lower than the screeching of a rabid vole.

So now What? The fact that some Freepers didn't like the notion of Mitch Daniels running for President entitles you to bear false witness against him?

The allegtion that Indiana passed an anti-sharia law and that Mitch Daniels vetoed it appears to have been made up whole cloth. If you were merely passing on gossip when you posted the claim, you should retract it. If you're the one who made up the claim, you should be ashamed.

That’s a leap.

I never said he was fit for being President. I’m not even going to address that. He said he wasn’t running, and even admitted he wasn’t ready.

Problem is there is such a dearth of principled leadership on the right that there are some on the right gagging for him to run.

He’s the most effective governor New Jersey has had in a very long time. Isn’t that enough for today?

Looks like Chris Christie has his peanut gallery cheering him on here.

I’m no peanut.

The time for words has passed. The time for action has come. Christie is acting.

Are you some sort of seminar troll out to dampen the morale among conservatives? I know there are both RNC and DNC teams on FR every day doing just that.

You want me to back Romney, Newt, that milquetoast Pawlenty? You might as well nominate McCain again. Next in line. Right? I hear Dole wants another crack at it.

You’re part of the problem, or part of the solution. Christie’s changing things in New Jersey. Jump on a winning team or find another game to watch.

New Jersey is ahead at the half. Let’s see what the second half has in store.

If you are backing Christie you are a Christie Troll or a RINO incognito.

Christie is a RINO.

He’s playing coy and plans to run for President.

He will meet the same reception from genuine Conservatives as did Julie-Annie.

Having said that, I would actively support ANY GOP nominee who runs against Obama. Can YOU promise the same???

Any GOP nominee?

You mean like Gingrich? Like McCain? Like Romney?

Not a chance.

I give Boehner credit for trying to get the establishment to wake up to reality.

I think DeMint can win. I think Perry could win. He’s got a record in Texas that’s hard to beat. The news out about their jobs situation there is outstanding.

If he picks an articulate and effective VP, someone who is free to attack Obama while Perry outlines the road ahead, I think we (conservatives) win in 2012 and beyond. I also think we may take the Senate, and improve in the House.

Trump was right that the timing of Ryan’s plan was bad, but the GOP assumed the situation was so bad, there would be an interest on the left to fix it. There wasn’t. Obama’s done being President for this term and is in campaign/vacation mode. Ryan’s plan is out there, and the left isn’t even going to suggest a budget, again.

If Romney gets anywhere near the WH, we are toast. Same with the other metrosexual Pawlenty.

I love Palin, but I can’t see her as either VP or President right now. She’s only got one oratorical speed. I think she’s smart enough and she’s got the executive and management creds.

If she was Tresury secretary, we may get a disinfecting of that industry that is long in coming. She’d be good at Defense as well. A female SecDef would be interesting, in that you may get the RIGHT kind of diversity (no women on subs, or all-male/all female subs).

We need adults with credible executive experience. Perry/DeMint is probably the best pair. Perry’s run a country before in Texas.

Label’s don’t mean anything any more. You are dismantling liberal socialism or you are talking about doing it.

Did you actually support and vote for McCain? He was the GOP nominee selected for you by the main stream media.

I will support the most effective conservative we can come up with between the Tea Party and the GOP. That I can promise you. I’m a voter, not a hostage or a stooge.

“Any GOP nominee?”

I will work in the primary for a solid conservative. If we get another RINO like McCain, I’ll be forced to support him.

Obama is SO EVIL, SO DESTRUCTIVE, SO FOUL, that even Clinton looks good next to him. If he is re-elected, America is FINISHED - OVER. We will wake up in a third world banana republic overrun with foreigners, polylingual, backrupt and with a modern version of the Brownshirts operating out of hardened emergency management facilities and responding directly to Obama - just like the Tonton Macoutes under Papa Doc Duvalier. We will NEVER see another free Presidential Election.

I think Boehner, McConnell and the GOP establishment helped PUT us in this mess.

I agree with you about Perry. I think he is probably the best we will see from an electability perspective. I like DeMint more but I though he really WAS not running.

I don’t like Romney or Pawlenty and think they would be poor candidates. But they are STILL better than the Marxist Muslim in the White House.

“Did you actually support and vote for McCain? He was the GOP nominee selected for you by the main stream media.”

I know that. I supported Duncan Hunter with money and voted against McCain in the Primary. I hate McCain. But compared to Obama, he is perfection. I worked for him in the General Election and contributed to his campaign - reluctantly.

“I’m a voter, not a hostage or a stooge.”

If that Marxist Muslim gets into the White House you will be a hostage AND a stooge and never again a voter.

Work HARD for a conservative in the primary. Then work HARD to defeat Obama in the General Election - REGARDLESS of who gets elected.

We have had BAD Presidents before. Obama is the FIRST EVIL President. The First ANTI-AMERICAN President.

Really?

Sister...back away from the keyboard..take a deep breathe.

Wait....would you like to put you money where you mouth is? We can have some trusted FReeper hold our monies. I will bet you $10K nothing of what you have said, except the bankrupt part will come to pass if Obama is re-elected.

Let's bet.

Its a bad thing to underestimate your enemies. They are far more devious and evil than you could ever imagine.

I’m 65 years old and I was born in a great country. It is but a shadow of its former self and it will take very little effort by Obama to accomplish exactly what I said in another 4 year term.

You’ve convinced me that perhaps our system of government is at an end, and that we are moving toward a coalition style system.

We have to, in my opinion.

The two parties have formed a pact to ruin the country, and they want my vote, and thus my participation, in doing so.

That’s the way I see it. How does the GOP see it? The libs are a mess and beyond help. How about the GOP?
