I find it interesting that whenever a replacement for the amateur is mentioned by the lamestream media, it’s never Sarah Palin who is mentioned. It’s like they’re floating trial balloons for someone, anyone but her.

Why?

In my view it’s because she is the only one who presents a threat to their hegemony.

This CNN report doesn’t pitch Perry. That’s entirely Cincinatus’ Wife’s nonsequitor jump in logic.

I've noticed that too. The oh so obvious "elephant" in the room. When her name is brought up it's usually, "I don't think she will run." She hasn't announced." "She has more power not being president." "Her negatives are too high." And so on...

It’s called the Journ-o-list/Rove Republican “anyone but Palin” candidate of the week, throwing enough shit up against the wall and hoping some of it sticks. When they find that none of it sticks, they start recycling the same names over again.

Because you are the one of the few who are watching this theater and are more interested in the lighting, camera angles and sound board settings rather than the scripted action on the stage.

After Bush and Soetoro, there won't be a Texan or new black man nominated to the presidency in this generation because that is how people think emote their way through the decision process.

Romney will win the nomination because the Establishment sees it as his turn. The Establishment always wins because that is their job and for generations they have rigged the system to perpetuate their positions. Because Romney will win the nomination, people will be so principled in their infant tantrums that they will sit home and hand Soetoro another victory.

We can talk about an ideal electorate and an ideal and rational public, but it is purely academic. The average IQ is still 100, and 95% of the people just don't care about the inner workings of government outside of any immediate exposure, and the voting population, both living, dead, illegal and imaginary are stuck in an "nothing bad will ever happen to us" mentality and will latch on to anyone with the clearest rhetoric (rather than record) that assuages the electorate in that concern.

They will let us futz around with the Representatives because there are too many of them to control, and Gerrymandering only goes so far, but the Senate and Executive is off-limits to the Tea Party. The Executive is a multi-trillion dollar global power position. No one cares about you, your concerns about petrol or food prices, your job, your retirement, your way of life. Your life can easily snubbed out and quickly forgotten by the next botched SWAT raid. What is important is that the Party Members and the Connected get their billions as you and me are less significant than gnats and our lives don't register anywhere.

Its much easier to recognize our lives as lumpen prols. We can bitch and moan about how the country is going away and maybe effect the local school council and state representative. We can haunt these echo forums and comment as a form of scream therapy, but you are just frustrating yourself into a drug and alcohol habit by hoping that some savior will appear out of the mist. (So do the Muslims with their hopes pinned upon a 12th Imam) That is the nature of man to desire to be ruled by a benevolent king. Recognize it as a carnal weakness and dump these ideas of Romney, Perry or Palin being our Savior.

Depression or not, all government will continue to dump fiat currency into the system for as long as absolutely possible knowing full well that in this game of musical chairs - everybody demands a seat when the music stops and the fact is that there are few seat and many people who will easily kill you and me in a heartbeat for any seat remaining. The entitlement mentality in the feral classes is too high. Even the so-called "noble" teacher and police officer will kill you for merely threatening to get in the way of them fraudulently gaming the system for a well compensated life-style. So the ethics of Cain, Palin and Perry are fully incompatible with the majority of reprobates and criminals who call themselves "Americans".

The American people lost the ability to elect their leaders over a century ago; Barry will win again because of apathy and fraud. As I have stated before, Barry is this country's last president.
