He’s kill her. Why did she hire this guy anyway. He’s extremely anti-conservative.

This is one of those early gaffes she may never recover from.

Bachmann should dump Rollins NOW. He’s a total liability in every way.

MB knew what she was getting with Rollins...and everything he said was approved by MB. She still has NOT come out to refute Rollins’ statements and he remains as her campaign manager.
MB sold her political soul to Romney in exchange for VP slot.

How could any primary candidate pick him after he left the party to help Perot in 92?

For me, it’s not so much about what Rollins said, it’s that Bachmann hired this anti-conservitive in the first place. THAT is where the failure really began.
I don’t believe that Bachmann can dig herself out of this, and frankly, it doesn’t look like she’s even going to try.

MEMO TO ALL GOP PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFULS PRESENT AND FUTURE:
If you want to debate Sarah on the issues, we welcome that. But, don’t you dare diss her. Her supporters will come at you with a vengeance and we will send you home from the Primary process early to watch Sarah make her acceptance speech in Tampa, FL in August of 2012.

Who ever recommended Rollins the RINO to Bachmann is probably a closet liberal. Ms. Bachmann, you screwed up.
Better for Palin if she chooses to run.

“MB sold her political soul to Romney in exchange for VP slot”. Maybe . If true , she went cheap . Frankly i don't see any type of win here foe MB. A truly stooopid calculation. If she really bought into this scheme she has already lost.

The Washington Post headline is a huge understatement. Ed Rollins has clearly sabotaged Michele Bachmann's campaign, whether by choice or just by stupidity. She is hiding under her desk and by doing so (sending some staffer to offer a bland statement) Bachmann is cementing closed the casket that will entomb her presidential aspirations. Too bad she sold out to the GOP hierarchy for a spot on Romney's ticket. That is just speculation not supported by facts - yet. However, whether or not Sarah Palin runs, I expect to see Bachmann mentioned as as Romney's choice for V.P. I'm sure it's all been worked out by the Beltway Republicans. I can only hope that Palin does run - and defeats Romney in the primaries, thus thwarting Romney, Bachmann and the GOP hierarchy. Romney can't defeat Obama and we can't take another four years of an Obama presidency. Run Sarah, run!
To: GonzoII
I am exceedingly disappointed in Michele’s judgement in this matter. I was hoping for much, much better from her. She says the right words, but then turns around and hires the same old tired insiders.
The last winning presidential campaign Ed Rollins was involved in was Reagan ‘84 and no one could have screwed that one up.
Rollins is, and pretty much always has been, a loose cannon and a beltway insider. We’re not going to win that way this time.
It’s a shame Michele couldn’t or didn’t see that. I have/had such high hopes for her. While this doesn’t eliminate her from potential status, she can’t make another stupid decision like this and stay in contention.
To: GonzoII; Virginia Ridgerunner; Al B.; RedMDer; trisham; Covenantor; Brices Crossroads; ...
Bachmanns campaign manager has started a mini-war and Bachmann has not seen fit to do anything about it.
Its not unreasonable to think that Bachmann was unaware of Rollins previous anti-Sarah Palin columns/articles prior to her hiring him. Virginia Ridgerunner posted links and the titles to two yesterday or the day before yesterday.
Its also not unreasonable to think that Bachmann knew about his reputation when she hired him, so lets just say, he lived down to it right from the get-go and she has remained silent, and Rollins remains employed!

Of Team Palins call for a retraction, he said, Whats the retraction? I say shes serious? What good is a retraction or an apology? He still believes it.
If anything, Palin should welcome one of her potential opponents shooting herself in the foot.
Palin's response should be, "No comment", or "Ed who?"
