The mom says she has begged the school to do something but is only told she needs to get the girl new glasses.

First mistake. Trying to reason with them. They know they have a pushover on their hands. She's BEGGING them to do something?

No. You DEMAND that something be done and threaten them with a big, nasty lawsuit if her daughter comes home with one more mark on her.

That is if the idiot mother can't think of the alternative of just yanking the child from public school to save her life

I learned to not to be nice to principals etc when my kids were in school. When I was I got nowhere. When Sassy was in school I became involved in everything, questioned them to death about everything. When I was a class mother I got to see more then most parents since now they won't even let you bring the cupcakes to the classroom. Parents have no clue or just don't care what goes on the bus or at school until it becomes an issue. I am so happy I home school & don't deal with issues & public school fools! Bullie's parents are usually bullies themselves, monkey see monkey do...

If this mother is so stupid that she puts her baby (4 yrs to me is still a baby) willingly on a bus where she knows her child is abused I see little hope for the child. Maybe a family member will step in & get the cops, lawyers etc involved. Shaking my head again & praying for this child.
