Rollins is delusional. Bachmann is also in lala land for hiring him and then either egging on his Palin bashing comments or at least agreeing with them as indicated by her silence. Bad, bad, bad move, Michele.

So, we have an alliance between Romney and Bachman? Sounds about right.

He played the same role in 2008 with Huckabee. I was hoping this guy would have dropped dead by now. But here he is again. He’s one of the biggest slimeballs in politics, right up there withe Begala.
And I love his strategy. Trash Palin. Brush it off. Threaten her not to run (”we’ll deal with that”). Then seek her support. He is a nasty POS.

Odd, Bachmann isn’t going against the announced RINO the media is calling the front runner.

I agree! drop dead!
They will never get my support, vote or acceptance!

It doesn’t look like Michele wants Palin as a drafting partner to me.
I’m through with Michele. That includes the financial support I’ve given to her last few campaigns for the house. She’s officially on my fecal roster.

No, Bachmann needs to go to Sarah. Whether one likes it or not, Sarah is the kingmaker, not Bachmann.
And if I read this correctly, the boobish Mr. Rollins is backing off quick his attack on Sarah. How many days on the campaign and he’s already retracting. Who is Mr. Rollins’ advisor - Newt Gingrich?

"In the long run we want Palin and her people as our allies."Why? So she'll appoint MB to an important post? No way.

Hey Rollins, that train has left the station.
Nice try schmuck.
To: kristinn
I find it so amusing that these “veteran political strategists” are under the delusion that Palin is not running. She has been running since the election loss in 2008. If you can’t see that, I question your political acumen.
Now if it is some perverse strategy to try and minimize Palin, when she does officially enter the race, you will still look foolish. Good luck with that Rollins. Don’t get run over by the Palin bus!

Goes for me too and I hope she reads FR. One way out for her is if Rollins just jumps ship to let Bachmann straighten things out. However. Rollins is not an honorable man and there are other forces involved on this. Think back to the last election when McCain suddenly came up out of the swamp.

Rollins isn’t a loose cannon, he’s an imbecile. Bachmann would be well served by firing him. That would make a good statement.

It is odd because if you remember from 2008 he said some nasty things about Romney (Huck and Romney hated each other). Now he's leaving Romney alone. To me that means this whole thing was coordinated by Romney/Rove.
