I hear you.
On the other hand, it would be a false equivalence to take a dynamic, notably successful governor who had reached 90% approval in an independent-heavy state, was the only VP candidate in history to have moved a ticket into the lead and is thoroughly vetted and experienced at the national campaign level and has two decades of tough, mostly successful, election experience—with alternate candidates whose basic biographies don’t match the presidential profile.
That equivalence is just what the old guard would like us to fall into.

Oh wow! Explosion when exposed by your ‘through and through conservative’ and your ‘chosen’ intimidation ‘thin skinned’ tactic.
I hope your thread gets read and some who haven’t paid attention get to see how desperate the ‘anyone but Sarah’ crowd roams around seeking who they may deceive.
Score one for Truth! Thank you God for wisdom and discernment.

Ah. I didn’t recognize him as a Alinsky acolyte. I almost let him drive a wedge between me and the other Freepers.
Now that I know, I know how to handle him.

Sarah Palin Forever. FR Trolls Never. I am proud to have this thread read by the best!

I have posted consistently very positively about Sarah Palin. I agree that she did not quit, that she decided to attack in a different direction.
That's ALOT of back tracking on a thread where your posts say.....
With regard to Sarah Palin, I see two common types of posts (neither being 'good' IMHO): 1) she can do no wrong and is our ONLY hope (um, no)
That's positive, I call it 'an agenda'. And SARAH is the ONLY HOPE for this country - but not for the rino and commie camp! So much for your 'um no'!
Defending this manipulated article with You paint NRO with too broad a brush - Andy McCarthy, Jay Nordlinger are conservatives through and through. Since when is manipulation of FACTS considered 'conservative'?
I believe that Cain, DeMint, West, Bachmann are equally capable of being a POTUS that conservatives would love.
Conservative aren't looking to fall in love - we are looking for a PATRIOT; a PROVEN FIGHTER; a PROVEN LEADER with PROVEN ACCOMPLISHMENTS! Another fail on your agenda.
you only prove my point that too many posts at FR are overtly thin-skinned about any perceived 'criticism' of Sarah Palin.(even if it may actually be a 'grudging' acknowledgment that Sarah's chosen path may be the right one and better than what the 'conventional wisdom')
CHOSEN?? Agreeing with this manipulated article that she quit to follow her chosen path along - with all it's other and 'reality star' innuendos? Perceived criticism - you think conservatives don't know criticism and the MSM talking points when we read them? When we counteract these types of lies conservatives are considered THIN SKINNED by you. Liberalism with it's labels - another known tactic.
Now that I expose you - you back track and say you post positively about SARAH and agree she didn't quit? What happened to CHOSEN and CONVENTIONAL WISDOM? Your little 'I like Sarah' and bombs doesn't cover your very apparent TROLLISH BEHAVIOR.
