I learned my lesson years ago when I dominated the drag strip and no one showed up one Sunday so then I went circle track racing and my driver Jumpin Jimmy dominated that venue and no one showed up unless they had money to tear us down and then promoter put us in $1,000 Claimer Races and we went home, Jimmy to milk his cows and I joined the FReeper league.

Did I tell you Jimmy won many rounds in the Petaluma Arm Wrestlin Championships. The last time I saw him he was in the hospital recovering from injuries after rolling 2 (TWO) D6 Caterpillars in the SAME day! He must have one hell of a scrap book. (footnote to all this) While visiting my son and his employes today and a customer said hi. He milked cows for Jimmy when we were racing from 64 to 72.

Jimmy bought a SS454 Chevelle with the LS6 engine in 1970 and loaned it to me to Drag Race until his wife whined and wanted a new car she could drive. Jimmy gave the engine to me and I put a 350 in and he traded it in for a Torino...
