If the States do their job in carefully selecting the officers of the Guard as Article 1, Section 8, Clause 16. The guard will ignore Federal orders to mobilize under Federal Command when they conflict with State orders.
It is this job that is extremely critical that we have our State governments pay a great deal of care to attending to. At the end of the day this is the difference between life and death for the State. The first loyalty of the Militia officers must be to the State not Federal Government.
Any officer that does not hold their first loyalty to the State Must be demoted to a harmless position.
An army is a threat not an asset if it’s loyalty is not to your state.
