Even if we voted a third party and lost to Obama - we would retain the House and probably retake the Senate - so could Obama do much harm with a Republican controlled Congress? Just askin...

LOL Romney wants conservatives to just keep voting for the lesser of two evils. Been there, done that. Look what it got us.

NEVER AGAIN!!

My vote goes to the conservative no matter what party he’s running in. If the Republican establishment wants conservatives’ votes, they need to get behind conservative candidates and help them get the nominations.

If Romney really wants a conservative president, he’ll drop out of the race and support one of the conservatives in the race.

This is exactly what I get out of any Conservative/Republican when I mention the possibility of a third party.

“Oh NO, it will ensure another 4 years for Obama”, they cry.

If the GOP gives us another RINO half-ass for the nominee, I would be quite open to a 3rd party.

What’s missing here is Romney telling the RINOs to back the Tea-baggers if we win.

It’s got to work both ways.

No matter who wins as President the House and Senate will be taken greatly by the TpCaucus in 2012..
2010 was the rehearsal.. 2012 will be the main event..

I like Palin/Bachmann... and Caine as Veep..

Romney is 100% correct. It would be a moral travesty to do anything to reelect Obama.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

George Washington believed political parties would distract government from it’s duties, create unfounded jealousies between groups and regions, raise false alarms amongst the people, promote riots and insurrection, and would open doors to foreign influence and corruption. Obviously, a very perceptive man.

IMO, in a democracy all elections should be non-partisan and all primary elections for presidential candidates should be held on the same day. Any candidate receiving at least 15% of votes cast would qualify for the general election. If no one received a majority of a states votes, divide the electoral college votes proportionally among candidates.

Palin’s favorite president is George Washington. I hope she adopts Washington’s view of political parties and runs as a pro democracy, anti corruption reformer. Considering how much American’s hate party bosses in the District of Corruption, I think this could be a winning strategy for Palin and America.

The country will go down on Obama’s watch or Romney’s watch, but neither will get my vote. When the dust settles, the GOP will be history. Bring on the third party candidate. I am done with this kind of GOP-same-as-Dem garbage!

Only slightly off topic, I've listened to radio talkshow host Jerry Doyle for a few years. He's always proclaimed himself to be an independent conservative. Lately he's been bashing Sarah Palin quite a bit, and saying that he thinks Romney's a great candidate. Yesterday, in talking about Romney's formal announcement, Doyle was pissed off that Romney was "sucking up to anti-abortion freaks" and "anti-gay marriage freaks." This guy has about 150 station affiliates and typically shares whatever channel most of our conservative talkers can be found on. I couldn't believe what I was hearing...anti-abortion freaks? I called the station manager to complain, and I can only hope that a lot of other listeners do too - in addition, of course, to turning off the program.

I’m not worried about any of this B/S, because the Fox News Candidate is not going to get nominated, Palin is.

The very day that Palin announces, she’s going to suck all of the oxygen out of the room.

Obama hasn’t been my leader, neither will Romney.

Since when is Romney a Conservative?

Heck! He’s not even a Republican...

His entire record proves it!

He couldn’t be more ‘liberal’ and ‘democrat’ if he tried!

To: Jim Robinson; All

Do we have a list of the official websites or email addresses for each candidate? How about contact info for the GOP? For sure I want to let them know THEY will not select my candidate for me EVER AGAIN.

Thanks in advance.
