One of his gals stated that she asked him to send an e-mail proving who he said he was BECAUSE she couldn’t believe someone in his position could spend so many hours tweeting over the internet when he should have been working on important issues.
Exactly!....Reported on Fox he had a conference call with his staff to help him formulate his confession....90% of what they advised he say he used.
He said he was there to take responsibility for what he had done...but in the next few breaths said he would not resign. That is NOT someone taking responsibility. All the rest he spoke was just 'fluff'.
I wish the house ethics committee would subpoena his work computer,home computer and also his phone to see all who he was communicating with and making sure none were underaged.I figure in the next week or so some Mom is going to freak out finding that her 14 yo daughter was one of them who got the photos?

We’re all enjoying the opportunity to ridicule Weiner who really does deserve it most than most Congressmen.
But he isn’t going to resign. He’s in the bluest of the blue districts in New York, the same state that elected Hillary Clinton after eight years of nationally publicized scandals involving sex, bribery, and treason. By November 2012 Weiner will make his constituents believe that these lemons are lemonaide, that he was persecuted for valiantly and selflessly acting in the interests of his district.
Unless, that is, New York state democrat party leadership has the good sense to eliminate his district. New York is losing two districts due to census results, and the pols in Albany have to draw new lines. The Dems could gerrymander Weiner’s seat out of existence.
No, something isn’t right about this fiasco. It’s entirely possible that this ‘exposure’ was a shot across the Clinton Mafia’s bow, an unspoke nthreat to expose Hillary’s perversions, perhaps. The monsters who scheme to rule us don’t like competition - and there’s no love lost between the Klinton Macjhine and the Obamunist wrecking crew. They’re merely monsters squabbling over who gets to consume us. None of them are fit to live in a free society.

I think I’m beginning to understand how the big effin’ out-of-control mess We the People have running in DC came to be.

Of course there have been. But the GOP misdoers with the exception of Sanford have resigned in disgrace. Democrats and their supporters think they should get a free pass a la Bubba “Put Some Ice on It” Clinton or even more heinously, Ted “The Swimmer” Kennedy.
It’s high time this most obnoxious, aggressive Democrat pit yorkie get his comeuppance.
As others have said, politicians who do this sort of thing open themselves up to blackmail and can be dangerous national security risks.
So even when he was “coming clean” he was lying. No big surprise there.
