WASHINGTON -- Key White House economics adviser Austan D. Goolsbee will resign from his role as chairman of the president's Council of Economic Advisers, it was announced Monday. A statement from the White House said Goolsbee will return to his position as an economics professor at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in the fall term. Sends shivers down my spine.
This whole administration is chock full of slimey Marxists.
He must think like 0 does. On c0ke.
I suggest he become the Professor of Sandbox. That is all he should be teaching anyone. The man is a fraud and a failure.
This was Romer’s replacement from back in September. They can’t figure out what they’re doing wrong, and so another one of Obama’s commie Chicago intellectuals bites the dust.
“Well-(stretches)- I’ve done all of the damage I can do. Time to get back to my phony baloney job in academic fantasy land.”
Teaching National Economic Destruction 101?
That obama economy just ain’t adding up and it’s hard to tell lies standing in quick sand week after painful week.
GO SARAH!!!!!!
Goodbye, Mr. Drools-bee.

BoTToms UP!
The ship is sinking...
I’m beginning to think that they don’t think they are doing anything “wrong”. What if your plan is to install a command and control economy, take equity positions in banking, insurance (AIG), manufacturing, control the rest through regulation. So what if there is 9% unemployment? The other 91% can feed the 9% and sustain it all through the next election cycle. In the meantime we all (Romer, Goolsbee, et al.) build up our pensions and move back and forth between government and academia as usual! What’s the problem?
I’m sure when he lectures about his times in the Obama administration he’ll tell the students that this economy was all the fault of the republicans who stood in the way of what he and Obama wanted to do.
They're trying to sell this as the "new normal."
Whether it's because they don't believe it can be better, because they don't now how to fix it or because they don't want it to be for political advantage I can't really tell. It's probably a mix of all three.
It wasn’t working
