And anyone who refuses to answer or doesn’t seem truthful will have a box checked that flags them as a potential societal malcontent that needs further scrutiny.

Doctors have every right to question gun ownership. There's only a problem if they're required to by the government. Otherwise, one just finds another doctor.
But, please, let's not go on a campaign to forbid them to ask about it.

My opinion is that if a doctor had to remove a gun from a patient butt, that patient also needed a prescription for some lessons from Miss manners, lest the patient again present with the same symptom.

Or run for Congress as a Democrat. There’s always that option. LOL!

My doctor asked me and I told him to go &^%$ himself. I guess he knew the answer.

Doctors have every right to question gun ownershipReally?!
Why is asking about gun ownership pertinent to a patient complaining about knee pain, for instance; unless he had a bullet in his knee?!

“The suit, filed by lawyers with the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence”
They were one of the filers of Writ of Certiorary in the Heller case.
The President of BCPGV is none other than the Democratic Party's ex Assistant Majority Whip. REP. Michael Barnes.
The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence is funded by Mr. Obama’s Annenberg Foundation.
The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence is one of George Soros 65 member progressive (communist) front organizations.

Probably why the law was written and passed by our legislature, and signed by our new Governor.

Doctors have NO business, asking this question! Actually, there are examples when I need to ask, and, when I do, it's ridiculous that the law would try to get involved.

George Soros and Goldman doled out $600,000 in 2001-2003 to the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, and $375,000 from
2000-2002 to the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence. The latter is the sister organization to the Coalition to Stop
Gun Violence, and both file litigation to close loopholes in gun laws. However, the CSGVs
radicalism can be seen in the fact that its original name was the National Coalition to Ban Handguns.

Please give an example when asking the question would be necessary barring a gun wound incident?

They most certainly do have every right to ASK the question....now whether I wish to answer it is my choice. And in keeping with the spirit of freedom, said doctor has every right to not service me in his practice as well, as I reserve the right to find another provider who does not ask such questions.
Ask me that and I’m saying “goodbye doctor”.

The lawsuit, filed in Miami federal court, says the new law is an unconstitutional ban on physicians' free speech and prevents them from counseling patients on firearm safety.
Good point. Okay, then. If you take no state money you can discuss whatever you like.
