Now this is very interesting, and not in a good way.
Ed Rollins: inside the beltway establishment guy, and VERY expensive to hire. He is a pure political operative and not at all a philosophical conservative. Ticked off a lot of Perot folks in 92. This is stunning from Bachmann.

Not sure I’m likin’ this. His previous
clients seem RINOish.
To: Al B.
That’s extremely disappointing.

Bachmann is a great spokesperson for conservative positions.
However, talking isn't everything.
Nothing yet has led me to believe she has the administrative, personnel, or even legislative skills to get a top job.
To: Al B.
Bad move Bachmann.
Rollins is a RINO as proven during every single one of his CNN appearances. I’m shocked. Well, we’ll know quick if she starts talking PC BS

So is Rollins more or less
A) slimy and
B) 'moderate'
than most GOP operatives?
I don't know enough about that field to tell. I feel like if I say Rollins is one of the worst, I'm being far too kind to the rest of the bunch, and if he's one of the best, I'm being far too kind to him.

It is a surprise to me, Rollins is a heavy hitter, doesn't come cheap either...

The sorry truth is that our team of pols is filled with overblown egos who can be massaged into just about anything.
The stop-Palin movement from the RINO Establishment is in high gear, and Mrs. Bachmann unfortunately seems to be part of it.

Campaign managers are hired for 3 reasons: money, votes, and organizing. It doesn’t matter what they believe as long as they work for you and work strictly in the parameters you set.
You hire campaign managers to get the job done within the law. They are not there to wax poetic about issues and personal convictions, they are there to do the above and advise you on strategy. Which doesn’t mean the candidate has to take it either. Above all they should be seen and not heard and do what they’re told.
As long as Bachmann is running the show and not Rollins, no problem. If it’s the other way around then we got a problem.
