ACORN is the largest radical leftist group in America today.
This radical group worked closely with the Obama camp during the election but, the community organizing group was not open about the relationship. The photo below was scrubbed from the ACORN website before the election:
One of Barack Obamas first big community organizer jobs involved ACORN in 1992. He worked along side ACORN before he became an elected official. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN in 2008 for voter registration efforts. And, ACORN even canvassed for Obama in 2008.
In 2009 Obama promoted a top ACORN operative, Patrick Gaspard, whos organization was fined $775,000 for election violations, to a top post in the White House. Gespard is helping shape domestic policy today.
Barack Obama was not honest about his relationship with ACORN during the 2008 election.
Last week the GOP House voted to defund ACORN and its affiliated groups. Obama wont like this.
The American Spectator reported, via Lucianne:
Last week the U.S. House of Representatives voted to block funding to any remaining ACORN affiliates and to new ACORN groups that have sprung up over the last year.
The ACORN network of 370-plus organizations is not actually dead, as Ive written. It is merely restructuring itself. The lead corporate entity, ACORN, filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, but the state chapters and other branches of the infamous activist network continue to operate.
Other affiliates including vote manufacturers Project Vote and housing bubble generator ACORN Housing continue in business. ACORN Housing changed its name to Affordable Housing Centers of America.

Was this Hussein’s Gestapo Army?
No, that would be Andy Stern’s SEIU thuggery, and the ‘AFL-CIOs’.
Before that, they could portray themselves as champions of the poor, instead of the sleazes they really are.
IIRC, about two billion, not a mere $800,000 was at stake.
Gespard is helping shape domestic policy today.
Well that answers my questions about the next electon being honest,JFK smiles mob nods.
No...that would be 0bambis Public Allies....

SEIUnACORNs.
I fail to understand why it’s necessary to “vote to defund.”
Just don’t include any money for them in the budget or the appropriations.
Frankly, without Glenn Beck’s constant attention to the details of these vermin, America would be in the dark still! With Glenn’s dedication to the realities, the thuggery of SEIU and ACORN has been exposed again and again. America owes Glenn Beck a debt of gratitude for his tilting at these nasty, destructive, anti-American, anti-Constitution windmills. The fourth estate threw itself into propaganda service to the criminal enterprise democrats. And yet we see what one or two persistent voices can still accomplish in serving the TRUTH which has no agenda.
We’ve got to continue to carry that torch after Beck ends the show at the end of the month.
amen
Reagan came into office with a very well thought out Defunding the Left strategy. He just never had the ability in Congress to pull it off. Our next GOP President with Congressional majorities needs to move on this post-haste.
Glad to see the GOP doing the will of the People
Those two are my heroes. I hope they come out strong on any campaign trail. America can have such a short memory.
Yes, you are very correct on the need to continue what GBeck drew attention to, but also start looking closer at what Pelosi, Reid, bH0 and Charle Rangle have planted right square in the middle of thousands of pages of ‘obamacare’. That would be his ‘brown shirt brigade’!! Why does he need a private malitia, that answers only to him? Can anyone tell me that? This is over and above US Military! This has me very concerned!!! Will this be acorn goons participating in this also? Check it out!!
The Left depends on it.
Don’t know if this is list worthy but since it involves ACORN and I do remember the acorn hatted Zero you used to have for the list “mascot”.
Good news for a change.
