>>> Sensationalism is clouding the waters if they actually have some real source material. Why would they push it that way?
If I understand your question, this isn’t sensationalism. It’s tactics. And quite effective.
Breitbart’s modus operandi has always been to hold back his trump cards. As with the ACORN prostitute videos he will initially release enough to force a response but the target thinking that is all Breitbart has, the defense will be misleading. Then soon after they have committed to that storyline, Breitbart throws in the hidden material exposing the new lies.

Precisely, and it's very effective tactics because it's precisely the same sort of tactics liberals/the left have deployed against us for decades.
Breitbart has put into the effect what we might call, in allusion to the liberals' tactician, Rules for Conservative Radicals (to borrow the title of a book by someone else).
That being said, it's not pretty, so if you can't stand the sight of it, please find other things to occupy your time with - Lord knows there are plenty of other things that also need to be done (taking down Weinie boy is just one of many worthwhile projects).
To revert back to the subject at hand, here's my little two cents' worth in the fight against Anthony "Peter Tweeter" Weiner; remember, the tactics are to isolate, polarize and ridicule:

I believe you are right about Breitbart holding his cards.
Probably why Drudge has been so quiet about it too.
Let him bluff. Let him lie.
Then hit ‘im with your best shot.
