The plan is to roll the film out in IA, SC, and NH....then put it in 50-100 markets (per Bannon).-- snip --He said yesterday he will be announcing rollout details sometime this week...
I believe Bannon said he was working on a digital distribution deal but didnt elaborate.
It would be HUGE in so many markets, even places like New York City, Boston, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc.
When they say 50-100 markets, do they mean individual theaters or theater chains?
It may very well roll back and turn the tide of libel and slander in the minds of reasonable but misinformed voters.
From RealClearPolitics piece cited on this thread:
Yet Palin the Fighter is an ever-present theme in the documentary; one of its most memorable moments occurs when Meg Stapleton recalls an encounter at the Fairbanks airport when Palin literally stared down an oil executive who told her, "You don't know who you're messing with."
( We know who won that one.)
More:
In a telling sign of how the film's message has already resonated with her own thought process, Palin made reference to the Paine quotation during an appearance on Greta Van Susteren's Fox News show last week shortly after she viewed a rough cut of the film for the first time.
"It's like Thomas Paine said, Greta, one of our founders. He said, "If there be trouble, let it be in my day that my child may have peace,'" Palin said. "I think of that when I consider whether running for office or not."
(That statement coming after the vile and despicable attacks she endured during the 2008 presidential run proves that her warrior's heart and resolve, like the best of swords, enduring heavy hammering and the heat of the forge, emerge harder and sharper, the most formidable of weapons.)
Does the film have a website or some official blog or something where one can see definite news about showings?
When is this coming to my area (Milwaukee). I can’t wait. If you have a ping list, please add my name.
