I agree... Since Andrea Rossi’s just figuring out how it works himself, this catalyst must have been derived by trial and error... or accident. This would suggest to me that it probably works somewhat without the catalyst.
I would guess that this catalyst could be related to cleaning the nickle powder in an acid bath.

It does work without the catalyst, Ive read in earlier experiments he used nickel sheets and no catalyst, he still got excess heat, just not as much. I'm wondering if he doesn't just use Rainy Nickel, and calls the remaining Aluminum in it a “catalyst” or maybe there is no catylist at all, and hes just trying to throw off other inventors until he gets his patient.
